Our charity partner Dogs for Good help thousands of people every day. October is Dogtober, a month-long fundraising event, and we were delighted to accept the opportunity to help! #UltimateDogtober
Ultima Financial Controller, Tricia, expressed her thoughts on the day:
"Please pass my thanks on to Vickie & Tula – it was interesting to hear not only how Tula helps Vickie with actual tasks but how having Tula has helped Vickie's confidence – you could see it in Vickie's face as she described how Tula had changed her life."
Ultima has helped educate Dogs for Good regarding data protection - in particular with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations). We are also assisting with their IT transformation project to the cloud.
Dogs for Good explores ways dogs can help people overcome specific challenges and enrich and improve their lives and communities - each year they receive 2,500 requests for help. The potential to do more good is extraordinary, which is why we are participating in Dogtober.
The charity also recently announced that Digby, a golden retriever cross Labrador puppy, has joined the ITV This Morning show, and will be making weekly appearances on the show over the next twelve months. We will reveal more on this soon in a future blog post!
